Kidzee, a network of preschool chain in Asia, celebrated World Environment Day 2015 by organizing a Mass- Tree plantation Campaign on 5th June at Kolkata. With the purpose to raise pitch for nature conservation and increase awareness on the consequences of global warming, students of Kidzee Beliaghata planted saplings at Children’s Park behind Subhash Sarovar located in eastern region of Kolkata. Organizations such as Chlorophyll Environment Foundation (CEF), Development Research Communication and Service Centre (DRCSC) and Indian Plywood Industries Research and Training Institute (IPIRTI) joined hands in making the even a grand success.
In addition, to this Kidzee Beliaghata also organized Green Expo exhibition which showcased handicrafts made from waste materials, traditional variety of seeds, indigenous items etc.
